Single Items

Yes, you can rent single items!  Maybe for a trip or to simply try-before-you-buy.  Please contact us at info@babygeargroup.com or text 248-660-0818 to check availability and pricing.    
Deposits are fully refundable upon return of all items with all parts and in undamaged condition, except normal wear and tear. 
$40 per additional at-home delivery/swap/pick-up.
What is the Money back value guarantee?
**You will be refunded any membership fees that exceed 50% of the new retail value of the items used during your membership.  Upon the return of all items and end of membership, you will be refunded any excess value.  For example, if you purchased the More annual plan, but over a year only ever borrowed a stroller, upon the return of the stroller and end of membership, you will be refunded membership fees above 50% of the new retail cost of the stroller. 
When Should i sign up?
If you are considering using Baby Gear Group, sign up early to secure your spot.  Memberships are limited.  If you later decide not to use the membership, you will get a full refund. 

Your credit card will be initially charged the deposit and first membership fee when you complete your registration.  However, your membership time doesn’t start until you receive your first item.  Your next charge will occur one month (or one year for annual plans) from the date you received your first item.  Thus, there is no disadvantage to securing your membership before you need items.  

When should i select items?
You may want to start getting items as early as 1-2 months before your due date, so that you have time to try things out and get set up.  Please submit your selection to allow for 1-2 weeks for delivery if your items are new.  If your items are in our inventory, delivery can be as fast as same day or next day.  

You can take your time to select items.  We can also help you choose.  Your membership time doesn’t start until you receive your first item.  So there is no rush!  You're not losing anything by becoming a member too early or taking too long to select items.  
can i keep something i love?
Absolutely!  Please just let us know if you’d like to purchase or keep a rented item.  We will offer it to you at a discounted buyout price, which credits a portion of your membership fees paid.  
Can i still use a registry? 
Yes!  Oftentimes, friends and family want to buy physical gifts.  You can still use a registry to get items such as a carseat, baby books, cute clothes, bibs, baby blankets, stuffed animals, pacifiers, bottles, diapers, or even gifts for mom/dad!  Some of these smaller items are great for saving for the memories.  You're much less likely to want to keep a giant jumper in your home.  

You can also ask friends and family to contribute to your membership here.  The gift of membership helps you get the items you'll actually use, and avoid any awkward questions about whether the baby really liked the swing your in-laws purchased.
how do i get started?
  1. Register for a membership using the form below.
  2. Select your gear via web, email, or text.  New parents are busy - reach us however you can.  No apps or passwords to deal with.  
  3. We deliver your gear!  Please take care of the items so that other members can enjoy after you.  
  4. Ready to swap?  Pick our your new items and contact us to schedule the swap.  

​Please fill out the below registration form to request a membership, and I will call you to complete your registration. Memberships are currently limited in quantity and only offered to the Philadelphia area.  Delivery area is 8 miles driving distance from The Franklin Institute.  Customers beyond this delivery area may still be able to get delivery for an additional charge or can pick up at Baby Gear Group's location near the Franklin Institute.
